Kelsey & Marco | Beautiful Beach Wedding | Sarnia, Ontario

I had already booked a few weddings in Sarnia before being told by my husband’s company that we would be moving to Calgary, but I didn’t mind! Travelling back to Sarnia for these weddings allowed me to still be there to photograph such a special time in my clients’ lives, and it also gave me the opportunity to visit with friends and spend time in a city that I had grown to love.

Kelsey and Marco’s wedding was such a beautiful and love-filled day. The wedding and reception itself was held at the Dante Club, but we spent time at the beach in Canatara Park taking photographs of family, the wedding party and the bride and groom. It was a slightly-overcast, spring day which created the perfect conditions for mid-afternoon photographs on the beach.

When we were taking the family photos on the beach the groom’s pants split! His brother (who was also part of the wedding party) came to the rescue and gave the groom his pants to wear for the photos while someone else ran off to a seamstress to have the pants fixed before the reception! The groom’s brother did the remainder of the family photos in his underwear! If that’s not brotherly love, I don’t know what is! It sure made for some fun photos and an interesting wedding story that I am sure will be told by Kelsey and Marco for years to come.
