Shoot & Share Photography Contest 2017

This year, for the first time, I entered the annual Shoot & Share photography contest!

This contest is definitely unique. Photographers from all over the world submit images in various categories and then for a period of time anyone can vote for their favourite images. There are twelve rounds in total and, after each round, the images with the lowest number of votes get eliminated from the competition.

Overall, there were 330 000 images entered into the contest, 150 000 participants and 60 million contest votes!

It was intimidating putting my images out there among those of so many incredibly talented photographers, but being a part of such an amazing contest and seeing such stunning images by other photographers was certainly very inspiring.

And…I was pleasantly surprises with how my images did in the contest! I had two finalist images, eight in the top 10% and 13 in the top 20%. Here they are…
