At the end of October, I had the pleasure of photographing Jen and Jeff’s beautiful wedding at the Sawmill Creek Golf Resort. I was bracing myself for a chilly day, but the temperature couldn’t have been more perfect. It was such a warm day so we were able to very comfortably take photos outside without worrying about getting cold, that is, until a cold front blew in off the lake later in the day. But really, we could hardly complain!

The reception, held at the Camlachie Community Centre, was full of love, laughter and dancing. I often feel like you can tell a lot about a couple by the speeches people make at their wedding. And the speeches at Jen and Jeff’s wedding confirmed the feeling I had all along: that Jen and Jeff are great people with a strong group of family and friends who have so much love for them.

One of the things I love most about shooting weddings is getting to meet such incredible couples, and Jen and Jeff are no exception. They are such wonderful, kind people whose love and respect for each other really shows.
