I shot this beautiful lakefront family photography session back in October. Mom and kids actually live in Thunder Bay and were in town visiting Dad who has been living and working in Sarnia for the past few months. They were renting a cute little house right on Lake Huron and just down the street was a house with the most beautiful garden with roses still in bloom! Of course we just had to ask the owners of the garden if we could shoot a few photos there. Not only did the owners allow us to use their garden as a backdrop for some of our photographs, we were also taken on a little tour of the property!

We ended this fun family session on the beach, getting some pictures of the family interacting together, skipping rocks and finding sea glass (lake glass?!) in the sand. It was such a perfect way to capture some precious memories after the family had been a part for so long.
